Unleashing the Power: The CR-Z Mugen Transformation

honda CR-Z MUGEN STYLE

CR-Z MUGEN! When it first hit the market, the Honda CR-Z became an overnight sensation in Japan, selling out immediately, and for months after its launch, the demand far exceeded the supply. However, this wasn't the case in America, where the car received a lukewarm reception. For the average American, the concept of a sporty hybrid didn't quite resonate. But for enthusiasts, there was one persistent complaint—not enough power. And it's for those power-hungry naysayers that Mugen says, "Take another look at the CR-Z, then say it to the CR-Z RR."

The CR-Z Mugen style promises more allure and power to satisfy the cravings of performance enthusiasts. Mugen has introduced significant changes to the CR-Z, making it more enticing and ready to deliver an unforgettable driving experience. So, if you ever doubted the CR-Z's capabilities, it's time to give this impressive RR version a second chance.

Honda stole the 2013 New York International Auto Show

How do you improve upon one of the most acclaimed vehicles in America? You give it something not available anywhere else. Introduced at the New York International Auto Show, the 2014 Odyssey features a sleeker look, a full suite of hi-tech offerings, and the only in-car vacuum. That's right, the new Odyssey will offer an all-new vacuum—HondaVAC™—on the Touring Elite trim.

Yes, Honda stole the 2013 New York International Auto Show this week with a vacuum cleaner. A built-in vacuum cleaner, to be exact. Honda said the 2014 Odyssey minivan is now equipped with an integrated vacuum system, called the HondaVac. If the name seems familiar, it’s because the Honda version was developed with the experts at Shop-Vac, the folks who’ve saved your basement more than once.

Basically, it looks just like a hand-held vacuum, if one was designed to fit into a car. As Automobile explained it, “The vacuum canister is tucked into the driver’s side cargo area wall, as are a variety of nozzle attachments. Like most other Shop-Vac wet/dry vacs, the HondaVac boasts both a replacable filter and canister bag. The built-in vac doesn’t need to be plugged in or recharged, and can run for eight minutes off accessory power.”

If you start the engine, Automobile says, the HondaVac can run without interruption. The HondaVac is only available on the 2014 Odyssey Touring model, whose price hasn’t been announced. But the 2013 Touring Elite model starts just above $44,000, according to Honda’s Web site.

The new Odyssey Touring Elite will also include:

Updated Styling

- New grille, hood and fog lights
- Revamped headlights, and refreshed taillights with LED light bars
- New side mirrors, including an Expanded View Driver’s Mirror
- New wheel designs

Contemporary Convenience

- High-Definition (HD) Radio®
- 7" audio touch-screen
- HondaLink™, a new cloud-based system that provides access to different media programs, including Pandora®[1] and SMS text message function[2]
- Programmable Remote Entry System with Smart Entry and Push Button Start

Progressive Technology

- Forward Collision Warning (FCW)[3]
- Lane Departure Warning (LDW)[4]

The Odyssey has long set the standard for what a van should be. With innovations like HondaVAC™, the 2014 Odyssey will raise the bar even higher when it goes on sale this summer. To keep up with all the latest Odyssey news, register for our emails and "Like" the Odyssey on Facebook.

Custom Built Nissan 240sx S13

Nissan 240sx is one of the most straightforward and overwhelmingly ready autos to get unique work nowadays. Here is a S13 reproduction that somebody in the states attempted to make their 240sx resemble the Japan model Sil-Eighty. I've had a spot of encounter tuning the aforementioned autos in my more youthful years, owning both the s13 Nissan and the more up to date S14 240sx autos, one having the normal SR20DET motor swap. Any time done right, the aforementioned back wheel drive games autos could be an impact to drive, float, or race while going up against numerous unmanageable towering end displays. For this undertaking, two companions met up to manufacture a generally plant looking S13 Nissan 240sx.

At the outside, the tuners began with an all new Dmax Type I figure pack, and after that swapped the stock 240 front close with a S13 Silvia front close from Japan. Afterward were the more extensive bumpers from Dmax, a vented hood, GTR grille, and another paint work. Within accepted new dark mill floor covering, five-indicate tackles, and a couple of tuning pieces like a support check, oil and temp checks, and in addition costly Sparco Evo seats, and a Formula D spec confine. With the move pen this auto ought to be suitable for overwhelmingly floating occasions, which most Nissan 240 holders assemble their autos for.

Under the hood is where the equity untruths with the stock 2.4-liter KA24DE engine flung out for the Japanese spec 2.6-liter RB26DETT from the ubiquitous Nissan R33 model. Numerous think the RB swap is significantly more entangled than the SR swap, yet it is coming to be more regular to see the RB motors in autos nowadays. Tuning to the motor was crucial to get the force numbers they needed, so numerous reseller's exchange parts were included. A special drive shaft was made, new motor mounts commissioned, motor wiring saddle, intercooler, radiator, downpipe, new admissions, colossal 800cc injectors, custom debilitate, GTR Lemans Nismo turbos, and race heading complete the motor construct. The last piece to the riddle were the KW Clubsport Double Adjustable Coilovers, and lightweight BBS LM GT road wheels measuring 17-crawls. At the track the fellows swap the wheels with the pricey Rays Engineering Gram Lights edges, which are a percentage of the best tuning wheels ready available. So there you have it, one non-douchebag Nissan 240sx manufactured the right way, yet they might as well have incorporated some motor sound pics!
